Sakura♥'s Polyvore

I haven't been on Polyvore for ages and ages and ages! I decided to get back on after getting so many random emails recently from people favoriting my old sets.
 
I've changed quite a bit since the last time I've been on here. I'm half way done with high school (but still so far away from graduating). And even though I've been away from Polyvore for so long, I'm more into fashion than I was before. I started my own blog last winter (www.mango--mochi.blogspot.com), and I'm really enjoying it. I'm still not too great of a photographer though.
 
Anyways, enjoy the set!
 
P.S. I really want the outfit in this set. Maybe I'll try my hand at sewing and make the crop top.

Anyways... I watched this movie and it was absolutely wonderful. If you haven't already, definitely go see it. I really want to read Marie's biography now, but I haven't the time (it's more than 600 pages).

I'm actually super excited about this contest. I love Rebecca Minkoff and it would be a dream to go to NYC fashion week. I doubt I'll win though. Hahah.

They didn't even have the real version of this Beatles song on Amazon. Pathetic.

This is a very different set style for me, and I probably won't make any more sets this way. I did it today because I bought an issue of Lula and found out about a new designer named Mary Katrantzou. I actually like her stuff, which surprised me a bit. I think I love the shapes of her dresses more than the actual prints on them.
 
I randomly found the "I don't regret anything" magazine spread, and it's actually from one of Lily Allen's interviews! That made me really happy. XD

Summer Trend: Peter Pan Collars.
 
Maybe peter pan collars are more of an autumn thing, but I've been seeing some pretty adorable ones in pastels lately. I think they're so cute. I need to buy some more.
 
This set was actually inspired by my dad. He just bought a '72 Volkswagen Beetle in a beige-ish color, and he keeps complaining that it's a piece of junk, but I think it's absolutely adorable. He wants to paint it mint green or light blue, so I included a picture of one in this set. :)
 
I guess I was sort of inspired by the movie 500 Days of Summer too. It's pretty much the BEST MOVIE EVER. And Zooey Deschanel is in it, which makes it 10000 times better. I love her vintage-inspired style.

Zooey was gorgeous yesterday at the Critics' Choice Awards, and so was Jayma. :) I'm having some trouble finding a good dress for a Jayma set though. :/
